The ACL Bridge Program.

THE GOAL of the ACL Bridge Program is to provide a safe intervention for ACL patients transitioning from physical therapy from around 12-16 weeks post operative. Upon completion of the ACL Bridge program, with written verification from a referred physician, the goal is to transition the patient to full recreational and functional activity with out any limitations.

The ACL Bridge Program will benefit individuals of all ages and abilities to help regain functional independence. After you are done with physical therapy and feel you are still not ready to return to your sport, this Program will get you there! It bridges the gap between being functional and being ready to play a sport. This program evolved by combining the latest in ACL rehabilitation with Frappier Acceleration's 25 years of research and state of-the-art technology. With safety being our number one priority, each session is personalized to the client's abilities providing a step-by-step progression with each stage becoming more challenging.

Components of the ACL Bridge Program

1. Super Running Treadmill: forward and backward incline running: Designed to improve overall body conditioning, strength, stability and flexibility, and aid the client in relearning proper walking and running bio mechanics without the "pounding" of over ground running. The motor control and strength improvements backward incline running will functionally train a muscle at sport-specific velocities.

2. Plyometrics: Challenges the body to improve its neuromuscular efficiency and body or spatial awareness needed for sport or recreational activities.

3. Agility and Multi Directional Movements: Designed to improve body awareness, reinforces proper mechanics, and enhance the neuromuscular pathways for improving sports or work-specific performance.

4. Strength Training: This personalized strength program will target the hip girdle, hamstrings, and abdominals while incorporating our Multi Hip and Plyo Press.

If you’re new to Acceleration we suggest you first try our 6-Week SPQ Program. After you complete your first program you may want to consider the Speed Pass or Maintenance Training. This will help maintain the fitness increases from your first program.

Each athlete will receive a customized program that includes pre and post testing and specific combinations of plyometric, powermetric, core strength and running treadmill training. Certain athletes will also utilize our patented sport cord technology to improve coordination and explosiveness. All programs will be tailored based on the age, ability and performance goals of each individual athlete. For a group discount, sign up together with friends or teammates.

6-Week SPQ Program: 18 one-hour sessions: Speed and Agility Training
Each athlete will receive a customized program that includes specific combinations of plyometric, powermetric, core strength and SuperTreadmill training. Certain athletes will also utilize our patented sport cord technology to improve coordination and explosiveness. 4-Week SPQ Program: 12 one-hour sessions: Speed and Agility Training

SPQ Speed Pass
With the Speed Pass you can utilize Acceleration’s running treadmill, strength training and plyometric and agility training as much as you like for the length of the pass. You can still expect the same exceptionally low trainer to athlete ratio, one-on-one attention and tailored program; now you just get more of it. For best results we recommend at least 3 workouts per week and no more then 4. Sign up for a 4 week, 8 week or 3, 6 or 12 month Speed Pass and get unlimited training for the length of the pass. This is available year round for all sports and has program upgrades listed below. If registering online for a multi-month Pass your credit card will be automatically charged the monthly amount each month. Contact us for group and family discounts.
