Track/Cross Country Program.

Just two quick phrases summarize the goal of this program: Move faster – run longer! Runners will reach optimal speed by increasing the two components of speed: stride length and stride frequency. The Acceleration Running Program helps each athlete learn and maintain knee drive, proper pelvic and trunk position and optimal stride length.

Acceleration Sports Training Centers provides specific programs for a variety of track and field events. The distance running protocols were designed to precisely train endurance runners with Acceleration technology and to be as specific to race distance as possible. Athletes who use the patented resistance cord technology build powerful sport specific motions such as sprinting, jumping and throwing.

Track & Field Program designed to improve:

If you’re new to Acceleration we suggest you first try our 6-Week SPQ Program. After you complete your first program you may want to consider the Speed Pass or Maintenance Training. This will help maintain the fitness increases from your first program.

Each athlete will receive a customized program that includes pre and post testing and specific combinations of plyometric, powermetric, core strength and running treadmill training. Certain athletes will also utilize our patented sport cord technology to improve coordination and explosiveness. All programs will be tailored based on the age, ability and performance goals of each individual athlete. For a group discount, sign up together with friends or teammates.

6-Week SPQ Program: 18 one-hour sessions: Speed and Agility Training
Each athlete will receive a customized program that includes specific combinations of plyometric, powermetric, core strength and SuperTreadmill training. Certain athletes will also utilize our patented sport cord technology to improve coordination and explosiveness. 4-Week SPQ Program: 12 one-hour sessions: Speed and Agility Training
If you’re in a crunch for time or you are a multiple sport athlete and need to limit your training sessions to once or twice per week this is your program. Click here to register an athlete.

SPQ Speed Pass
With the Speed Pass you can utilize Acceleration’s running treadmill, strength training and plyometric and agility training as much as you like for the length of the pass. You can still expect the same exceptionally low trainer to athlete ratio, one-on-one attention and tailored program; now you just get more of it. For best results we recommend at least 3 workouts per week and no more then 4. Sign up for a 4 week, 8 week or 3, 6 or 12 month Speed Pass and get unlimited training for the length of the pass. This is available year round for all sports and has program upgrades listed below. If registering online for a multi-month Pass your credit card will be automatically charged the monthly amount each month. Contact us for group and family discounts.
