Ultimate Frisbee Program.

In order to gain a competitive advantage against your opponents, you’ll need to be more agile, run faster, jump higher and be able to recover faster. Our Ultimate Frisbee specialized program can and will help you gain these useful skills to outlast your competition.

Whether it’s sprinting, passing a disc or overall coordination and quickness; training with the Acceleration Training Programs will help you gain the winning edge. This program was developed to help athletes improve their quickness, jumping ability, power, speed, agility, strength and confidence to improve their game. Ultimate Frisbee athletes who participate in the Acceleration Training Programs will train with the most advanced technology. Our 4,000 square foot field house also has the space to work on passing, footwork, and technique to keep your skills fresh throughout those cold and snowy winter months.

  • Speed and quickness
  • Quick multi-directional movements and agility for changing direction on the field
  • Strength and vertical jumping ability
  • Coordination and balance for better body control on the field

PROGRAM COMPONENTS:
Running Treadmill and Plyometrics
Super Running Treadmill:
Research has shown that incline running on our unique, hydraulically controlled Super Treadmill provides 200-300% more recruitment of the muscles responsible for increasing and maintaining speed, than running on level ground at the same stride frequency. This specialized training is crucial for improving the overall speed and acceleration needed for Ultimate Frisbee play.

Plyometrics / Strength Training: Athletes will work with an Acceleration trainer performing multi-directional floor drills to increase their boundaries of movement, body control, foot speed and developing upper body strength, lower body explosiveness and core stability to ensure maximum power and control on the field.

Resistance Cord Training: Our patented SprintCords are used on the running treadmill to overload and recruit the hip flexors and quads while sprinting. These resistance bands are different than pulling a parachute or weighted sled because they specifically overload the hip flexors after toe off.
